Join us Arnside Educational Institute
Join us in the beautiful, coastal village of Arnside in South Cumbria for a short ramble, interspersed with thoughtful poetry and readings, before returning to the Educational Institute, Church Hill (LA5 0DF) for delicious refreshments and live music.
We are offering tea, coffee and soft drinks with cake throughout the afternoon and will be joined at 3.30pm by 'Fellside Singers' (a local acapella group, with a wide repertoire of traditional and contemporary music) and ‘Salt Pie Lane', the folk group from Queen Elizabeth School, Kirkby Lonsdale - their tunes range from toe-tapping and cheery to hauntingly beautiful!
Programme for the afternoon:
Refreshments available from 1.30pm – 5pm
1.30pm – 2pm – register at Arnside Educational Institute if you wish to join us for the walk (bring a brolley!)
2pm prompt – walkers depart from the Educational Institute (returning at 3.30pm)
3.30 – 5pm live musical entertainment (as above)
Suggested donation adults £10, children £5.
If you do not wish to walk, you are welcome to join us just for the Entertainment and Refreshments!
